Carton packing
is the smart choice for 1 cm marble and granite tiles: light enough to handle safely, structured enough to survive a sea voyage. It is the same method used for premium ceramic export — adapted by Mega Trade Misr for natural stone since 2008.
How it works
Every tile is selected by hand against the approved sample for your order before it comes anywhere near a box. Selected tiles are packed 5 to 6 pieces of the same size per carton, so each carton stays at a comfortable one-person carrying weight and tiles cannot shift against each other in transit.
Filled cartons are stacked on a heat-treated wooden pallet produced in our own in-house wood workshop — the same workshop that builds all of our crates, bundles and boxes. The stack is covered with a strong piece of wood to protect the top layer and allow safe stacking inside the container, then strapped down as one unit.
Finally, a content label is fixed to the outside of every pallet listing the material, sizes, finish and quantities inside — so your receiving team can verify a full container in minutes without opening a single carton.
What it's best for
- 1 cm calibrated tiles in standard formats (e.g. 30×30, 30×60, 40×40, 60×60 cm)
- Egyptian marble such as Galala, Sunny and Golden Cream in polished, honed or brushed [finishes]
- Egyptian granite tiles for flooring and cladding projects
- Orders where fast, damage-free receiving matters as much as the price per square meter
Why buyers choose it
- Retail-ready: cartons can go straight from container to shelf or site
- Damage isolation: a mishandled carton risks 5–6 tiles, not a whole crate
- Full traceability: every pallet is labeled and photo-documented before loading
- No third-party delays: pallets and wood covers are built in-house, on our schedule
