Pallet packing

is our standard for volume tile orders: the fastest way to move serious quantities of marble and granite while keeping every tile protected from the vibration, shifting and handling shocks of a sea voyage. It is the method most of our container clients choose at Mega Trade Misr, and every pallet is built in our own in-house wood workshop.

How it works

Before packing, every tile is selected by hand against the approved sample for your order — tiles that don't match the sample never make it onto the pallet.

Selected tiles are stood on heat-treated wooden pallets and surrounded by foam, so no tile face ever rests directly against wood or another tile. The load is then locked down with plastic belts running over rubber edge pieces: the belts stay drum-tight through the whole voyage, while the rubber pieces spread the pressure so the belt never bites into a tile edge or corner.

The number of tiles per pallet varies with tile size and thickness — we calculate the safe load for your exact format rather than forcing a standard count. Finally, a label fixed on the lateral side of each pallet lists everything inside: material, sizes, finish and quantities. Your receiving team can check a full container against the packing list without unwrapping a single pallet.
